The 2nd Core belief in Management is that a successful project maintains a quick, efficient hand over from Estimating to Project Management. The foundation of a projects success is determined during this period.
The transition period at Prodigy is the 1st step in the Project Management level of the project. The scheduling and assignment of the project’s Project Manager and Site Manager, and the turnover of the project workbook to the Project Manager allows for the timely hiring of the subcontractors and ordering any supplier items, that may be a long lead time. The owner contract is developed and signed defining a clear road map of the expectations of each party. “For Construction Documents” are received and copies made for all parties working on the project. Accounting Control Budgets are entered to allow for process of billings and invoicing to begin. Building permits ready are for pickup and all the upfront work allows for the project to hit the ground running.
